Sitting in the second level of my home at around 6:45 p.m. saw a really bright light that resembled a ball of fire with a tail

Was watching the news in my living on the second level of my home. It had just gotten dark and saw a really bright light encircled with orange exterior. It looked like a ball of fire and it had a long tail passing right outside my window. The sighting was about 25 feet from where I was sitting so very close to my house right above my garden. There was no noise. I rushed outside to see where it went and there was no trace.
