Taking out the garbage to the dumpster and saw three bright lights moving in formation in the shape of a triangle

Saw triangle craft moving extremely fast and creating zero sound. It kept disappearing into the sky then reappearing within my view from outside my back deck. This reoccurred for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes the triangle broke up into 3 different lights and they all accelerated in opposite directions not returning
