UFO sighting, dispatching 4 fighter jets on it. Witness was visited by the Men in Black threatened never to talk about it.

My father told me of a incident that happened while he was stationed in Great Falls Montana in the Air Force .

Before my father passed away he told me of a incident while in the Air Force in Great Falls Mt. In the 50s Operating in the communication center with a UFO sighting, dispatching 4 fighter jets on it etc etc he was visited by the Men in Black threatened never to talk about it etc. and he told me about it before he passed. Witness: J

J recited a story told to him by his father who has since passed. He was reminded of the story while watching a documentary on UFOs. Seeing the documentary prompted him to reach out to NUFORC,

J stated that his dad was stationed at Malmstrom AFB located close to Great Falls, Montana in the 1950s While there he functioned as a radar operator. On the day in question ( October 5 ,1955), he identified a bogey (an unknown aircraft) traveling southward across the Canadian border at a high rate of speed. The bogey was described as a “flying disc”. Pursuant to protocol,a squadron of four jet fighters was deployed to intercept the bogey. J’s father was in radio contact with the jets.

J recollects that the pilots told his father that they were going to fire upon the object because they perceived the bogey to be a threat. Before they were able to do so, the pilots reported that their weapons systems became inoperative and they were forced to disengage from the bogey. When that happened, the bogey rapidly accelerated and soon disappeared from visual sight and from radar

J’s father claims that within an hour of the return of the pilots, he and the pilots were summoned to a meeting. At the meeting, there were two civilians who were not in military clothing. The civilians admonished the parties concerned that they were not under any circumstances to discuss the incident under threat of being court martialed and being discharged dishonorably from the military. J said that his father honored that admonition until shortly before his death when he chose to reveal the incident to his son.

J referred to the civilians who told his father to keep quiet about the incident with the bogey as “men in black” It was not because of the way they were dressed or how they looked. It was because of the threats made to refrain from talking about the UFO.

Another interesting fact about this case is that in 1967, an event that was similar to that described by J’s dad happened. A well publicized event described by Robert Salas occurred at the same facility. Salas reported that a UFO that appeared over the same base disabled the guidance systems of several ICBMs that were housed there.
