Long string of bright lights in straight formation with border around them approx 200 feet in length, no sound or FAA strobes .

Long string of bright lights in perfect line with border around them, approx 200 feet in length going west to east, approx one mile away at altitude roughly 2,000 feet. watched for approx. 15 seconds then the whole band just blinked out. No sound and no FAA strobes. Object did not change direction, change color, grow bright or dim. Speed slightly faster than a passanger jet. All lights were a bright white.
