Three lights in a triangle , not blinking, fast moving.

Setting in car with window down, I heard a soft machine like sound . I was looking wondering what made the sound when I noticed above three lights placed in a triangle moving quickly in the sky. I have no way of knowing if it was flying very low and the size of a small plane or high and much larger. If it was close it was moveing very swiftly. If farther it was extremely fast. It was moving NW to SE, lights not blinking, white in color
