Flash of light traveled across sky

Driving on highway 39 from Chicago to central Wisconsin. Right near Wisconsin Dells there was a very very bright flash in sky. The light then traveled across sky at super high rate of speed and disappeared. The sky was a bit overcast. Can't logically think what this could have been. Gave me the shivers.
