weirdest thing we have ever seen certainly not an aircraft

started as bright light, moved quickly above, hovered for a while we could see two bright lights in the centre and four small red flashing light at each point. moved quickly away out of sight then came back again in front of us it hovered for a while again then moved off quickly not to be seen again.there was haze around the object.
