Saw many oval lights in the night sky and then disappear.

My Husband and I were driving Central Turnpike in Sutton heading towards Oxford and we saw a stream of low lights over hovering over the soccer field. It was too low to be an airplane, and much too large to be a drone. We turned around to see it some more, but when we got closer it vanished.
