Non-flashing white light- moving southeast- dimmed, then vanished

There are no clouds in sight tonight. I walked outside and saw a white light in the southeast moving east. It wasn't flashing at all and quickly vanished out of sight. The light seemed to get smaller and vanished on a clear night.
