Bright light over Wadi Rum seen by 2 people

While staying in Wadi rum my sister and I were looking up at the night sky. Suddenly, a very bright light appeared. It was like someone turned on a lightbulb. We watched a little longer and it reappeared (flashed again) a few seconds later. Then nothing more.
