Bright light at high altitude, weaving from side to side

I saw an unusual light pass over the Portland area tonight. It was just after dark, around 9:45 p.m. It moved from West to East. It was a bright bluish white light. At the same time I saw a commercial jet pass underneath the object, which was traveling from South to North, at about 30,000 feet. I would guess the other object above the jet was 10 to 15,000 feet higher than the jet. And the object appeared to be traveling at a higher rate of speed than the jet. When I first noticed the object I thought it was a satelite. But, even though it was on a straight path it was moving slightly from side to side, kind of like a drunk driver!! I could see no other lights like running lights on regular aircraft. And the side to side movement would be impossible to perform in a standard aircraft.
