Walking my dog outside and saw him looking up at the sky. Looked up as well to see 15-18 gold lights in a loose flock-like formation headed east at a high rate of speed, headed toward Green Forest. Stayed close together in a shifting V formation with no sound. Aircraft nearby (small single-prop airplane) flying at altitude could be heard and seen flying at a significantly lower speed. Overcast conditions, no fog.
