Bright little point of light turns massive and disappears.

I was driving east on county road 61 going uphill into Eden Prarie, along the river valley and we seen what looked like a re-entry trail with a very bright little point of light below the trail moving straight towards the earth. The bright point of light then grew to a massive size with a bright tail which looked like it could be burning up in the atmosphere. Then the same little point of light shot out of the bottom of the bright trail.

The light then traveled straight down until it disappeared behind some clouds and it did not reappear on the bottom side of the cloud. One passenger in the car tried to get footage, but there were too many trees in the way, while driving, and when we finally got to a clearing, it was already gone.
