Bright star like object changing blue green red south east of Vancouver, BC.

What appears to be a very bright star changing from green to red to blue is shining right now, looking south east over Vancouver. Looks amazing and I have been watching it for 45 minutes! What is that? Not a satellite as that would fly past. This is stationary and is still there. You cannot miss it. Very clear sky tonight.

Yes, that was Sirius. I hadn't seen it change colours like that before.
