Characteristics: Lights on object

We saw three red/orange spheres in the southern sky heading Southwest in a triangular pattern.

The size of the spheres were much larger that a typical aircraft light.

Also, since they were flying away from us, they seemed unusually bright.

Not like any commercial aircraft I've ever seen.
