Green light flashes across sky near Olympia, Washington

We were driving on 101 heading north west of Olympia, when my husband and I saw what appeared to be a meteor or shooting star, but none like I've seen before.

This was a bright green ball of light with tail shooting across sky, and then disappeared in the night sky.
