3 triangle shapes with flashing lights in triangle formation.

There were 3 triangles in triangle form, moving constantly upward rapidly. There were flashing lights on the objects and the seemed to be white in color. There was a NorthWest airliner flying at a lower altitude than the objects and had no engine or radar problems(we asked the pilot at next airport it landed at). The 3 objects then moved quickly to the north and then disapeared.
