Green ball shooting down to the earth

I was driving on I-95 heading South towards Miami (between exit 12 and 14). Something made me look up, and I saw a bright ball of green light. The light was on my upper right side. The ball of green light was not small, but very huge-like the moon size in the night sky.

As I caught this ball of light, I saw it literally shoot down, very fast, towards the ground of the city. I didn't see anything afterwards. It lasted only a few seconds, but it certainly was incredible.
