Walking my dog around midnight, I noticed a bright orange round (ball) moving north. It appeared to flames coming from the rear. Moved silently.

I watched it move northeast until it was just a dot of orange and was gone. I can easiy see the launches (rockets and the shuttle) from Kennedy Space center.

The way it flared up then turned into a dot in the night sky reminded me of those launches, but this was going across the sky at about the altutude of a commerical air flight.

This was along the flight path of Orlando International airport.

About 3 minutes later a commerical jet flew by. The Orb I saw was clearly not a plane
