Triangular bodies with flashing lights midway between downtown and south San Jose on highway 87

Was driving down highway 87 southbound when from far away my friend and I saw a really bright light. At first we figured it was a plane, but we realised it was stationary. Once we got closer, right by the hills halfway between downtown and the intersection with highway 85, we observed the craft from about 500 ft, and saw it was triangular in shape, probably about the size of a car itself. We saw a second one later on down the road, and maybe a third one but it was too far to tell. They were both with the same characteristics though, stationary and the same lights.
