Yellow/orange roundish fireball, faded off into the distance

I saw a large roundish yellow/orange glowing fireball through the window - I assumed it must have been distorted through the glass (steam or something inside the glass) so I opened the door and no it was exactly as it looked before, like a fireball, changing yellow and orange. I watched it grow bigger, then it moved further away and faded into the distance.
