strange lights cause separate vapor trails.

I saw a vapor trail in the sky. Strange because it was the only thing in the sky at all. No other clouds, nothing. It looked like a cut or slash in the sky.

I looked for what made it and then saw something that started a new trail. I continued to watch and it grew in width and then split into 2 and then the top 1 split into 2 but those stayed close in proximity, so it looked like there were 3 shining dots of light in all.

As they separated the vapor trail discontinued and all 3 lights just faded out.
