Orange fireball within a triangle that crossed the sky at 400 feet high with no sound

I was driving down a country road near the Niagara on the Lake airport when I spotted an orange light in the western sky, approximately 400 feet in the air. It was the size of a single engine plane and was travelling in a west to east direction. The speed was that of a single engine plane. No sound was heard as the object passed my position.

My wife was with me in the vehicle and I opened the sunroof to allow her to get a better view of the object. As I continued to drive she described the object as a fire ball within a triangle. I continued to drive down the country road, and within 45 seconds the object was out of visual range.
