A craft within a hazy cloud around it crossing the sky.

My brother & sister-in-law we’re leaving the rehab where our 87 yr old mother is at. They were talking and looked up. They saw an odd illuminated, elongated cloud moving across the clear, cloudless sky. It didn’t have a trail following and seemed lower than the other planes in the sky. We are use to aircraft in the DFW area. If it was daytime we would think it a hot air balloon moving very quickly.
