Large round bright green light moving quickly across the sky.

I was sitting at the kitchen table facing a sliding glass door. It was dark out, approx. 8:20 p.m. Sept 11, 1999. Relatives were visiting that evening. I saw a large bright, green light in the sky, moving from the east to the west.It was like the size of a full distant moon. It moved fast and low in the sky. We have tall trees all around us on the horizon. It angled downward and acroos the sky ,and as I jumped up and ran to the door and opened it, the light dropped behind the hillside. There was no tail, no noise, except the neighbor dog barking. No one else saw the light as they were not facing the windows. We all looked and listened for a few moments. I have never seen anything like this.
