4/13/97 approx.7:06pm I video taped an object flying through the tail of the Hale Bopp comet.

I was filming the Hale Bopp comet from my front porch when a satellite appeared from the left side of the comet,flew straight through the tail and became two to three times its size in a bright glow then faded back to its original size looking very much like an ordinary satellite.Im told a satellite could not be up this high and after contacting a few magazines through e-mail I was given the approximate position of the comet on that date and area and was told there were no satellites passing at the time.Im not a big believer in U.F.O.s but what I caught on video is quite interesting,and I find it very curious that my porch light started blinking on and off a minute or two afterwards.coincidence?
