While driving outside Enumclaw, WA we saw a red fireball

While driving outside of Enumclaw, WA a red object was seen. The object was first observed to the northeast and was last seen in the northwest. The object was glowing and in the shape of a sphere. An "aura" type emission was observed coming from the object. The object changed directions and also hovered during the short time period that it was observed (5 minutes). The object had an apparent size of an aspirin (actual size 30 to 100 feet) and was observed to have been at an angle of 0 to 10 degrees above the horizon. At its lowest point the object was estimated to have been at an altitude of 500 feet. The object approached within 100 to 500 feet of the observer.

The sky was reported to have been clear at the time observation. The observer reported feeling some "elation" during and after the event
