Seen full view ship hovering over trees 40 feet in air!

1971 about 5 pm my brother and I were outside when this ship was hovering over a stand of pine trees! It was 2-3 football fields in length! Made no noise! Had windows along the length of craft! I saw figures in windows but could not distinguish features! We ran inside screaming for father to come and look! By the time we got outside it had vanished!
