A ball of light flying in a straight line from north to south on the east side of the moon no trail and then slowly blinking out.

I was looking at the waning moon through my telescope as it was exceptionally clear that night, and looking amazing.

Zooming in and out and exploring the area I noticed a white dot moving with purpose travelling from north to south in a straight line, it had no trail and was moving with great velocity, it was really clear and as bright as the moon itself, it was visible for about 5 or so seconds then slowly disappeared.
