Observed the craft pretty high up in the sky on the northern edge of my family's property. It floated from east to west.

I was about nine years old and was pretending to be airport ground crew with my grandfather's construction gear in my backyard. I looked to the sky and saw the craft in question in the sky north of my property moving from east to west. It resembled a diamond, with lights around the middle and what appeared to be a narrow flame coming out of the bottom. It disappeared behind some trees, and when my eyes turned back to the lawn, I saw a 2'2" creature, resembling a cliché ghost, standing in front of me. Being terrified, I ran. When I went back to look for the entity, it was gone with no trace.
