Started off as a bright flashing light, then was getting lower and closer then moved by and had 3 lights and was small.

We walked out to take my dog out, and noticed a bright light up the hill that was just floating and bright. It began to flash and get closer and lower. As it got closer it turned into three lights but it was too small to be any type of plane. It was gas powered and it made me so unsettling.
