Orange glowing orb sighted over Belleville, Ontario

I was driving north on highway 62 (North of College Street and South of Bell Boulevard) and noticed a very bright, glowing orange sphere moving from the west, in an easterly direction. It was moving at a smooth, steady pace in a straight line. I would estimate the object was approximately 35,000 - 40,000 in the air, and must have been very large. The orange glow was peculiar. It didn't shine like an LED light, but glowed more like plasma. Every now and then, it would glow a bit brighter, but didn't really appear to pulsate.
I pulled into a parking lot on North Front street as soon as I could and got out of the car as the object passed over my head. Three small, white orbs appeared to come out of the object and then it just vanished. The entire sighting lasted approximately 45 seconds.
I can't imagine that I'm the only one who saw this object last night. It was quite large and very orange. It really stood out in the sky.
