Object appearing as a star was changing light intensity while moving in the night sky.

Object appearing as a star was changing light intensity from very low to very high while moving in the night sky.

Interval of changing light intensity was approximately 5 secs from low to high and then 5 secs from high to low intensity. The speed was like an airplane but a little bit faster.

First it was moving from south to north, and then changed direction from north to south and then it disappeared.

Maybe I saw two objects because I lost it for a 15 seconds before I saw it again moving in other direction.
