At 15 min before landing I clearly saw a spherical metal object flying against the plane direction i was fast at least 5 seconds

I was trying to look through the plane window at San Francisco bay. A few minutes to land and I saw clearly a sphere metallic object flying against our direction. It was 5 seconds at least. It was fast. I have never seen something like this, I'm not sure what was that .
