4 green orbs in C formation

While watching what seemed like a large low flying military aircraft flying in a NW direction, I noticed 4 green orbs streak across following the path of the military aircrafts direction. The orbs looked like they were behind fog or clouds, but there were no clouds in the sky. A satellites laser beam tracking the plane is the only conclusion I could think of it possibly being.
