Triangle aircraft with lights on perimeter

My friend and I were on her back balcony and we both saw it at the same time. It looked like a large triangle, low in the sky, with lights lining the perimeter of 2 sides. It was flying the same way a plane would fly, but at one point its sides seemed to bend down and upwards a little. It glided kind of slowly/smoothly & quietly, until the roof obstructed our vision. When we ran through the house and out the front door to try and catch another glimpse, it was gone.
