Several light orbs appeared to be traveling generally eastward, sometimes disappearing, very intermittent

Looking from my back porch in a northwesterly direction, towards the star Capella in the Aurgia constellation, I observed an orb of white light that appeared among the stars, moving in an easterly direction. The object disappeared after a few seconds. The phenomenon reoccurred several times, from a similar position in the sky. One orb appeared to move the opposite direction, and this was the only “streak” of light I saw, almost like a shooting star. Several orbs appeared to change direction rapidly, I am a 37-year-old male and I’ve lived in this area all of my life. My first thought was lightning bugs(fireflies) but I did not see the phenomenon happening anywhere else in the sky nor did I see more than a couple of flashes anywhere else in the yard. My grandfather, father, and great uncle were all pilots so I’ve been observing planes from the ground my whole life. We have planes flying over all the time. These were not civilian airplanes…they were moving too fast and changing direction too fast. No strobe lights either. Flightradar24 showed several civilian aircraft that I was able to track visually. These were not the cause of the phenomenon. Using google maps, the direction I was observing is generally in the direction of Arnold AFB near tullahoma, TN.
