Black round object

We were behind my friends house burring a dog. There were 3 of us my friend her son and me. Lynell went down hill when a red dot started coming towards us. It stopped over her house hovering for 10 seconds . It was 30 ft away from us. it was round black and looked like a beetle with bright crown of light. It was 5 ft long and had 4 legs. It returned to the area where I first noticed it and hovered for 4 minutes disappeared then back for a minute. There is an airport very close to the sighting in a higher elevation from us. I am including a second sighting of what I saw in the sky from my home .on Feb 4 2023. It can possibly be explained. I do not have video from first sighting.
