A bright light zig zagged and then flew up rapidly.

Was driving down rt 231 approaching Cismont. There is a farm Airsle that has a large treeless field. I observed a bright light hovering over the field. Within seconds it zigged and zagged to different areas over the field at an impossible speed. Then it shot up into the sky leaving a small trail of light following it as it disappeared into the night sky. Every hair on my body stood up for the rest of the drive home.
