I saw a round sphere that was internally lit up with a white light floating over an irrigation in a cornfield,.

The sphere was floating over the irrigation system at the center pivot when I first saw it while I was watching it it moved all the way to the other end of the irrigation and hovered there. It was internally lit with a white light. It was about the size of a small car. After it moved, it unnerved me and I got in my truck and left I was stopped and standing outside of my vehicle watching it. I did not hear any sound coming from it. The corn was fully mature, but still green, so I am thinking it was in July but I’m not exactly sure of the month.
