Thought I was looking at one of the brightest stars in the sky until it started moving and flew directly over me and off into the sky

I watched as this super bright white light started shooting across the sky, at first it looked as if it had a tail, I watched it for about 30 or 40 seconds before I had to try to break away and grab my phone and get a picture. Which I did. And my wife saw it too.
