My dad and I were walking our dog around the neighborhood when a green orb about 7 feet diameter flew silently about 30 feet over us

While walking my dog with my dad a glowing green orb flew over me and my dad. It was going about 40 mph and was slightly above the trees. The orb was about the size of a small car. This happened at some point around 2016-2017. I had a few strange dreams afterwards and would sometimes wake up with puncture marks.
