UFO hovering over us, the bottom was moving in a circular motion with flashing lights. It was gone quickly with no sound

A huge disk shape with bubble like piece on top was moving in a circular motion with lights flashing and craft was hovering closely over the 4 way intersection. I was about 11 years old at the time and my older sister was driving. We were in amazed at what we were seeing. We could not believe our eyes and it took off so quickly with no sound. The next thing you know it, it was gone. Nobody believed us and to this day, IF, I tell that story, nobody believes me.
