While driving, our car lost all power and a huge bright ball shape appeared in our front window in the sky approx. 60 ft. overhead. We left our friends about midnight where we were visiting together at Lost Lake, Ca, (which is more a small river), while observing flashing lights in mists of clouds on the other side of the the lake, there was no noise, no thunder, not any bad weather. We decided to leave, so I drove, my husband didn't feel well, I think he was freaked out from the flashing lights in the sky, it was as though the flashes were communicating. We began our drive home just after 12 midnight. I was 7 months pregnant. While driving on Copper Ave for about 5 minutes heading east, our car (1964 Chevy Biscayne) began to loose electrical power, the radio faded out, all of the lights and the engine stopped. Then all at once there was a big orange fiery ball, with an aura like around it. It lit up like lightening would, every thing over us and immediately around us. It was approx. 60 ft up at the left side view of the windshield. I looked at my husband and said do you see that? He yelled, Go, go, go! I tried pumping the gas peddle to no avail. It remained in our view for about 4 to 6 seconds, then disappeared as quickly as it had appeared. When it left, our vehicle regained all power, radio, lights and engine. We drove home in silence, which was 8-10 minutes away. When arriving at home I looked at the clock we walked past, to go to bed, the time was 2:20 AM, We obviously lost time. We actually saw the very same thing the next evening from our kitchen window and friends that were over witnessed it with us. The light entered in through the window and lasted about 3 seconds. I have seen other UFO's, and I know exactly what I was looking at each time. I have other stories on this phenomenon.
