Translucent/Cloaked craft passed overhead in backyard. I was in the back yard doing some astrophotography work and I looked up to see a form flying in a straight path over my house from the east to the west. I couldn’t tell what my eyes were seeing exactly and there are two ways to describe it. It looked as though it was a translucent boomerang shape with the curved part as the leading edge. But it also could have been the leading edge of a circular shaped craft with some kind of cloaking device on as the leading edge shape had a rippling/rippled effect along with the translucent appearance. It made no sound and with that and no reference point I could not tell if it was a large object 400-500 feet in the air or a small object 50-60 feet off the ground. The cops of trees that it flew over average 50-80 feet high so it was at least above that. The air was still. Barely a slight breeze, super clear night, 51 degrees F and cooling off. 95% of all flight paths in my area are N/S coining in and out of Reagan, Dulles and BWI. I’ve seen UFO’s before and this one was very unusual as it was very movie like in it’s quality.
