A large object with multicolored light all over it was seen outside my bedroom window when I was about 4 years old.

This happened in 1969 or 1970. I'm not sure because this was over 50 years ago and I was toddler when I saw it. I remember looking out my bedroom window and seeing a long torpedo cigar shaped object. It was bigger than my house and gray or silver in color with multi colored lights all over it. I remember getting my crayons and drawing a picture of it. It scared the heck out of me, so much so I was afraid to tell anyone about it. Not even my parents. I remember looking at for what seemed like forever. I honestly don't know if anyone else saw it. My brothers or my sister may have seen it, but I don't know if they did or not. I believe my father may have seen it, but I don't know because we never talked about it. I was actually afraid to talk to anyone about at the time. I'm sorry if all the details are a bit scarce but remember this was over 50 years ago and I was a child when this incident happened.
