Seen just before sunrise on New Year's Day

I had gone to the beach to watch sunrise on New Year's Day. I had gone out early to get shots of birds, the sky, etc. While shooting, I noticed a streak of light moving in an arc. It was moving quicker than a plane but not racing across the sky. I watched it for a couple of seconds trying to figure out what it was and then decide to get a picture as I couldn't really decide. By the time I got the shot, it had moved a fair distance. Your system will not let me upload the raw unprocessed photo but I can make it available if you would like.
