Orange Orb

It was the year July fourth 2015 in Newport Rhode Island!
My wife and I were down in Newport Rhode Island To view the fourth of July fire works.
I was traveling west towards fort Adams when I saw a Orange dot that was moving ,at first I thought it was Mars but it was moving slowly.
So I decided to pull over to get a closer look ,and there was a girl on a bicycle and my wife and I .
At this time the orange Orb was traveling slowly in the middle of the Narragansett bay over towards the fire works that were coming to an end .
At 10:00pm the main Event of the fire works went off!
I was out of the car with my wife and a girl that was walking her bike ,we all saw this Orange Orb except now it was coming towards the three of us.
At this point in time the orange object or orb was directly over our heads 18 feet above all our heads.
. At this time I noticed the girl walking her bike dropped her bike on the ground ,was crying shaking and had called her parents and I heard her say to her mom ,I think I am seeing a UFO.
I told the girl and my wife not to move one inch.
This Orb sat there over are heads for five minutes straight ,I have no idea what it was doing but I had some ideas of what it was doing.
The orb was the size of a basket ball maybe slightly bigger so Brite and orange flickering of a purple ish streak with in it that it lit the area up,with no sound what so ever.
The object did this for five minutes then started to move slowly to the East where it kept on going till it was out of sight.
I will never ever forget this moment in time and I always think about this event every day!
