Three lights in triangular formation zip across sky, seem to sense detection

As I lay floating on my back in the swimming pool I was studying the stars on a clear summer night when my eyes came to rest on a small cluster of what looked like stars but it was not a normal constellation - it was three stars arranged equidistant in a triangle. The most stunning aspect of the experience for me was the way the formation seemed to sense that I had noticed it because it kind of “flinched” the moment I spotted it as if it didnt want to be seen and began evasive maneuvers. It started to dart away but suddenly stopped as if trying to make up its mind and then it streaked across the sky at metaphysical speeds, came to an impossible abrupt halt and then - poof - apparently ascended into oblivion. I think it sensed me and did not want to be seen. It moved as if the sky was a blackboard and a professor just dragged chalk across the whole expanse with one sweep of the arm. No shooting star goes that fast or stops that suddenly. It seemed from another dimension.
