No of observers: 2
Location: Tarzana (Los Angeles), CA, USA
Location details: North of Tarzana about a quarter mile
Shape: Fireball
A large blue green fireball with a small tail north of Tarzana, CA
I only caught the tail end of the anomaly, as it flew down below the tree line about a quarter of a mile from me. The thing that brings me here today to report this is I’ve never seen anything like it, and I’m a big astronomy and space nerd. It was a massive blue/green meteorite type fireball that I would have to roughly judge to be five to ten feet in diameter. The tail of the fireball was very small. It was all very bright. I heard no light or sound when/if it landed or made impact. Nothing remarkable happened after for several minutes. It was too brief to capture a photo.
